Overview
The PodTrak P4 is the ultimate recorder for podcasting, with four mic inputs featuring XLR connectors and individual gain control knobs and mute buttons. It also has four headphone outputs with separate volume controls, making it easy for everyone to hear the audio. The P4 has phantom power for all XLR inputs and a Mix-Minus function to prevent feedback from call audio. It also has a TRRS connection for easy phone connectivity and four assignable Sound Pads with 11 preset sounds for sound effects.

In addition, the P4 can record all input sources on separate tracks in 16-bit/44.1kHz audio WAV format, and it can record directly to SD, SDHC, and SDXC cards up to 512 GB. It can also serve as a 2-input, 2-output USB audio interface and has a class-compliant mode for iOS compatibility. The P4 can operate for up to four hours on just two AA batteries or a USB power supply, making it perfect for recording on the go. Or connect your computer via USB, using your favorite conferencing software. With the P4’s built-in mix-minus feature, distracting echo and feedback will automatically be eliminated.

Wireless connectivity

You can also use the optional Zoom BTA-2 Bluetooth Receiver to wirelessly connect your phone to record remote guests. BTA-2 available separately.

The P4’s customizable Sound Pads can instantly trigger music, ads, jingles, and even pre-recorded interviews. Easily load your own sounds or choose from 11 pre-recorded presets.

The P4 can serve as a 2-input, 2-output audio interface, allowing you to record directly to your computer, Android or iOS device. With the P4 you can also live-stream your podcast.
