Overview
The CineMonitorHD8 X-SBL Evolution is an 8 inch on-board monitor with a variety of features for colour, gamma, and display adjustments. It comes with a factory preset calibration of D56/D65 and a backlight dimmer. It also has input profiles for LogC, S-Log, S-Log2, Canon-Log, Rec709, and HDR clipping. Users can adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, and hue, and it offers anamorphic desqueeze and special scaling for Alexa 4:3. The monitor also has various colour modes, including black & white, green, and blue check.

The CineMonitorHD8 X-SBL Evolution also comes equipped with a variety of tools, such as a focus helper, zoom pixel to pixel, and lens readers. It also has markers for safe area, 4:3, and 14/9, as well as a crosshair and user framelines. Other features include on-screen timecode, LED tally, SDI audio monitoring, battery and power information, and image flips and monitor reverse. It also includes VirtualHorizon2 with inertia and shock compensation. The monitor’s rugged and sealed design, anti-glare bonded screen, and high quality connectors make it a reliable and high-performing option for on-set monitoring.

The CineMonitorHD8 X-SBL Evolution is an 8 inch eXtremely SuperBright on-board monitor with a complete tools package. It is rugged and fully sealed (no holes, no noisy fans), with precision machined aluminium housing. It features an anti glare bonded screen outputting 2000Nits and high quality connectors.

The 4:3 screen is partitioned in 2 areas: the picture zone displays the picture in 16/9 format whereas tools and measurements are displayed in the remaining free area of the screen.

CineMonitorHD Evolution can be set in 2 operating modes either for outdoor viewing or colour monitoring. In Full Bright mode, details in both the dark areas and highlights are maintained even in full sun without hood.

Featuring Transvideo’s proprietary technology with RealFrameRate processing (RFR), the CineMonitorHD Evolution provides true monitoring of existing in-camera images with 1 -frame delay or less.
