Sony CBK-VF02 Viewfinder

Overview
The PXW-X500 camcorder is equipped with a 3.5″ Colour LCD HD viewfinder that connects to the cameras 26-pin interface. This viewfinder is capable of outputting a higher resolution QHD signal, which is only compatible with the PXW-X500 and PMW-400 models. However, older cameras that use the CBK-VF01 viewfinder can still be used with the PXW-X500, but they will not be able to take advantage of the higher resolution. In order to utilize the QHD signal, the CBK-VF02 viewfinder must be used with the PXW-X500, as the CBK-VF01 is not compatible.

About the Sony CBK-VF02 Viewfinder
3.5″ Colour LCD HD Viewfinder for the PXW-X500’s 26-pin viewfinder interface. This viewfinder outputs the higher resolution QHD signal to the PXW-X500 and PMW-400 camcorders. Older cameras using the CBK-VF01 viewfinder are compatible with this viewfinder, but cannot take advantage of its higher resolution. The CBK-VF02 must be used with the PXW-X500. The CBK-VF01 is not compatible with the PXW-X500.
