The CINEbox requires that all of your lenses (‘Lens Set’) have a common diameter at the end of the lens barrel where the CINEbox connects. Professional Cine lenses like Cooke PL or Arri Super Speeds are made with the same size lens barrel to aid in connecting to a Matte Box (80mm or 114mm, for example). However, SLR still lenses are not made with this in mind and can be any size. To solve this problem Shoot35 have manufactured ‘Lens Attachment Rings’ which provide your lenses with a common 80mm diameter. These rings screw into the lens filter thread and are available in various thread sizes depending on your lens.
