Overview
This Lyre-based suspension is designed to reduce handling noise and vibrations for cleaner audio recording. It can be mounted on various devices such as camera hot shoes, boom poles, and stands, making it versatile for different recording setups. With a 180° swivel, the recorder can easily be oriented towards the speaker for optimal sound capture.

The suspension uses a patented Lyre system that provides excellent isolation from vibrations, shocks, and handling noise. It can fit any portable recorder with a 1/4″ female thread and can be mounted on a 3/8″ male thread, mic stand, or boom pole. The Lyre is also resistant to extreme temperatures, making it suitable for use in harsh environments.

About the Rycote Recorder Suspension
A new Lyre-based suspension for portable recorders, the suspension offers excellent isolation from vibrations, shocks and handling noise. Featuring the new 1/4″ to 3/8″ Swivel Adaptor, the suspension fits any portable recorder with a 1/4″ female thread. The suspension can then be mounted on a 3/8″ male thread, mic stand or boom pole, or be attached to a camera hot shoe. The 180° swivel allows for easy orientation of the recorder so it can point in the exact direction of the speaker.

The suspension uses the patented “Lyre” to give unequalled isolation & robustness. Unlike rubber or elastic suspensions the Lyre is unaffected by temperature extremes, and so can be used in the harshest of environments.
