The DeadCat GO is a synthetic fur wind cover designed for use with the VideoMic GO. It is acoustically transparent, meaning it does not interfere with the sound quality of the microphone. This wind cover fits over the entire microphone, including the cable connection, and should be put on after the cable is connected to the microphone for best results.

Its artificial fur is specially designed so as to minimise wind noise while remaining acoustically transparent.

It fits over the whole microphone, including where the cable enters the microphone, so should be fitted after the cable is connected to the microphone.
