Lindsey Optics Brilliant IR ND Filters are designed to reduce the amount of light entering the lens by 3.125%, attenuating all wavelengths of light including UV, Visible, and Infra-Red. These filters have a 7-layer Electron Beam Anti-Reflection coating, which reduces flare and increases contrast and color saturation. This is especially important for digital motion picture cameras, which are highly sensitive to light just beyond the visible range.

The Brilliant IR ND Filters are made from solid glass and have a rock-hard 7-layer anti-reflection coating, ensuring they are neutral and consistent in color across all densities. They are also free of off-axis color shift and can be stacked without introducing stray light or reflections. These filters are available in various sizes and densities, making them suitable for use with all digital and film cameras. With the Brilliant IR ND Filters, photographers can capture truly brilliant images with fully saturated colors and no unwanted false colors due to infrared pollution.

Lindsey Optics Brilliant IR ND Filters attenuate light equally from Ultra-Violet to Infra-Red. Like all Lindsey Optics filters, the Brilliant IR ND filters have an advanced 7-layer Electron Beam Anti-Reflection coating for reduced flare, as well as increased contrast and colour saturation. Today’s digital motion picture cameras have a high sensitivity to light just beyond the visible range, especially in the Near-Infrared portion of the spectrum.

This sensitivity to Infra-Red can cause unwanted false colour shifts. This is most noticeable in black fabrics, which can be rendered as ugly browns. Lindsey’s new Brilliant IR ND filters attenuate all wavelengths of light equally, from Ultra-Violet through the Far-Infrared. Through careful design and manufacturing, these filters do not clip any light in the visible spectrum…unlike some other well-known filters that reduce red saturation. Made from solid glass, without any plastic interlayer, Lindsey apply a rock-hard 7-layer anti-reflection coating that effectively eliminates stray light and reflection artifacts caused by your filter stack. Brilliant IR ND Filters are remarkably neutral and consistent in colour across all the densities in the product range. They are beautiful to the eye and the camera loves them. The neutral grey colour will not change with age or exposure to light.

The colour and AR-Coating are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for one year, with extended warranties available. Lindsey Brilliant IR ND filters are free of off-axis colour shift regardless of the lens focal length and due to their advanced multilayer anti-reflection coating, they can be stacked without introducing stray light (flare) or specular reflections. They should be used as a standard ND filter with all digital and film cameras.
