Quickly and easily increase the length of your Ronin “pan arm” enabling you to properly balance an “extended” camera setup. It also provides clearance on long camera builds for a full tilt down and up clearance.
Now use Sony F55, F5 and FS700 with ease. Also Red Epic / Dragon with long zoom, a mattebox / filters and even use a regular back battery mount for power while still giving you the ability to properly balance all of it.
IMPORTANT NOTE – RONIN PRODUCT CHANGES
The Ronin has a had a slight design change during its production lifetime to date, affecting this accessory. You can easily determine if you own a first or second generation Ronin by looking at the tilt motor (left) arm:
If your arm is a seamed bolted design it is a first generation Ronin and you need to select either CM-500 (short) or CM-501 (long).
If your arm is a single-piece design, then you have a second generation Ronin and you need to select either CM-502 (short) or CM-503 (long).
