About the ARRI Hi-5 Hand Unit Basic Set
Firmware Update for Hi-5 & Hi-5 SX SUP 3.0 – 8th October 2024

Hi‑5 SUP 3.0 is an important milestone for the ECS ecosystem as it marks the introduction of the Hi‑5 SX and brings multiple new features to the ARRI system. Beginning with SUP 3.0, Hi‑5 and Hi‑5 SX will share the same firmware.

It is important to note that all Hi‑5 and Hi‑5 SX shipped with SUP 3.0 cannot be downdated to a firmware version older than 3.0. Hi‑5 Hand Units which were shipped before SUP 3.0 can be downdated as usual.
