Aputure Storm 1200x – EU: The Aputure Storm 1200x is a powerful 1200W tunable-white point source fixture with advanced white point control and a CCT range of 2,500K-10,000K. It features a new proprietary LED chipset, high color accuracy, IP65 weather resistance, and multiple control methods including Sidus Link and DMX.

Aputure CF12 Compact Fresnel: The Aputure CF12 is a 12-inch compact Bowens mount fresnel optimized for the STORM 1000c and 1200x. It offers a spot-flood range of 15° to 45°, smooth falloff, and intensifies the output of the STORM fixtures by 9 times. The CF12 was designed to work optimally with the STORM fixtures, providing high output and efficient performance in a compact and lightweight package.

The STORM 1200x Cine Kit is designed as a complete system, functioning as a powerful fresnel fixture that is the most compact and lightweight solution with the highest output.

Designed to Work Together
The STORM 1200x and the CF12 were designed together for optimal performance. The CF12 Barn Doors and the STORM 1000c/1200x Skid neatly complete the package. The STORM 1200x Cine Kit is a configuration that many rental clients prefer: a high output, efficient point source LED with a clean fresnel lens.

Optically Designed for Better Colour and Higher Output
The CF12 Fresnel was designed alongside the STORM 1200x. The marriage of the fixture’s light engine and the optics of the lens results in a high output beam with even illumination and no colour fringing. The advanced optical-mechanical design of the CF12 allows it to function in little space while still delivering peak performance.

Introducing the Aputure STORM 1200x, Aputure’s first light in our new STORM family of cutting-edge workhorse point-source fixtures. As a 1,200W dual-colour point source fixture featuring our breakthrough BLAIR LED chipset, a ProLock locking Bowens mount, and advanced dimming technology, the STORM 1200x is a feature-packed fixture suitable for a tremendous range of professional imaging applications from high-end film productions to small-crew video or photo shoots.

With our new breakthrough proprietary BLAIR chipset, the STORM 1200x delivers exceptional brightness and colour accuracy. The STORM 1200x offers a hefty 24,000 lux @3m at 5,600K with its included hyper reflector while maintaining an SSI [P3200] of 87 and SSI [CIE D5600] of 87 at 3,200K and 5,600K respectively. The inclusion of an indigo diode in this chipset enhances the colours of fluorescing materials, resulting in an image that is lit more accurately to match natural daylight and tungsten sources.

Featuring a CCT range of 2,500K-10,000K and advanced white-point control with green-magenta colour correction (±G 100% full ASC MITC range), this fixture offers the versatility and critical colour accuracy that professionals call for on set.

It is optimized for use with the STORM 1000c and 1200x. It is also compatible with the LS 1200d Pro, LS 600c Pro II, and LS 600c Pro. The CF12 Fresnel efficiently intensifies the light output of the STORM 1000c and 1200x by up to 9 times the brightness of the native output of each light. It provides a smooth falloff from centre to edge, all with a compact and lightweight form factor achieved by a dual-expanding focusing system. This unique system allows the CF12 to increase the distance between its rear and front elements by extending both ends of its barrel, not just the front like traditional fresnel accessories. The CF12 Fresnel can be paired with the separately available CF12 Barn Doors to give users even more control over the output of their STORM 1000c or 1200x. For additional convenience, the CF12 Fresnel and its separately available CF12 Barndoors will fit into the STORM 1000c and 1200x rolling cases with the fixture already in its case. Brighter by Design The CF12 Fresnel intensifies the STORM 1000c output by up to 9 times (5600K, full intensity at 1 meter equals 58,500 lux) and the STORM 1200x output by up to 9.9 times (5600K, full intensity at 1 meter equals 84,400 lux). The optics provide an even output at all beam angles, with a smooth centre-to-edge falloff. Wide Beam Range, Compact Design The new CF12 Fresnel offers a beam range of 15º to 45º while maintaining a compact profile. It uses a dual-expanding focusing system with multiple lens elements to drastically reduce its size and weight without compromising optical performance. Its compact design is perfect for small, well-balanced setups on the STORM 1000c and STORM 1200x. The CF12 Fresnel is also compatible with the LS 1200d Pro, LS 600c Pro, and LS 600c Pro II. Aputure CF12 Barn Doors: The CF12 Barn Doors mount to the front of the CF12 Fresnel to cut and shape the beam. Four main doors and four slide-out extensions control spill. Additionally, the CF12 Barn Doors can hold a standard 13” scrim to control the light output. Aputure Skid For 1200x & 1000c: The STORM 1000c/1200x Skid is a steel skid attachment that secures to the bottom of the STORM 1000c and STORM 1200x. The Skid raises the light so that a CF12 Fresnel and CF12 Barn Doors can be mounted without them contacting the ground. A cutout at the rear of the skid allows the STORM light’s head cable to be plugged in without it contacting the ground as well. With this Skid mounted, the STORM 1000c and STORM 1200x with its head cable, a CF12 Fresnel, and CF12 Barn Doors attached can sit safely on a shelf or equipment cart.
