The Sony FX6 Z-Finder Recoil Rig with Dual Trigger Grips is a shoulder rig specifically designed for the Sony FX6 camera. It features a Next Generation Recoil design for optimal balance and comfort when shoulder mounted or on a tripod. The rig adjusts for the balance point of the camera and relocates focus, monitoring, and camera controls forward, creating a lighter and properly balanced rig.

The rig includes Zacutos VCT Pro baseplate, the Rosette Trigger Grip for the Sony FX6 handgrip, a 13.5″ LANC extension cable, the FX6 Top Plate, Sony FX6 Handle Mount, and FX6 Z-Finder with Axis Micro and Fluid Rosette. The VCT Pro baseplate has a sliding top plate, curved shoulder pad, and various screw options for tripod connection and accessory mounting. The dual trigger grips offer adjustable handgrip positions and rotation for single-handed use. The FX6 Top Plate has removable rod locks and multiple mounting holes, while the FX6 Z-Finder comes with a flip-up frame and locking mount for the LCD screen.

About the Zacuto Z-Finder Recoil Rig w/ Trigger Grips – FX6
The Sony FX6 Z-Finder Recoil Rig with Dual Trigger Grips is a shoulder rig designed specifically for the Sony FX6 camera. This is a Next Generation Recoil rig designed for optimal balance and comfort when shoulder mounted or on a tripod. With lenses and cameras being similar weights, the balance point is where the lens meets the camera body. In a shoulder mount rig, the balance point needs to be directly over your shoulder which puts the camera behind you. The Recoil rig adjusts for that balance point and relocates focus, monitoring and camera controls forward, creating a lighter, shorter and properly balanced rig.

The Sony FX6 Z-Finder Recoil shoulder-mounted rig includes Zacuto’s VCT Pro baseplate, the Rosette Trigger Grip to relocate the Sony FX6 handgrip, a 13.5″ LANC extension cable, the FX6 Top Plate, Sony FX6 Handle Mount and FX6 Z-Finder with Axis Micro, Fluid Rosette.

VCT Pro – this baseplate has a sliding top plate for quickly removing the camera from the rig or fast lens changes, a built-in, curved shoulder pad, a v-wedge tripod connector (with ¼” 20 and 3/8″ 16 screw option). It has removable and extendable 6.5” iris rods and rows of ¼” 20 screw holes along the sides for accessories. It has quick release 15mm rod parts in the rear. The recessed rod mount offers maximum accessory capable space under your camera lens.

Dual Sony Trigger Grips – relocates the Sony FX6 camera grip to a comfortable handgrip position for shoulder rigs. Zacuto’s trigger grips are the most adjustable grips available. They allow for single-handed 360° rotation with the simple press of a trigger. The two handles rotate independently of each other. Flip them down for a low, rock-solid handgrip. Raise it up for more of an Aaton style position. Or quickly flip them both all the way up to set your camera flat on the ground or for storing in a case. Or stagger them if that is more comfortable to you. The length of the hand grips can also adjust by loosening a red lever and pulling the grip out or pushing in.

FX6 Top Plate – Designed to fit around the Sony top handle, this Top Plate has two removable 15mm rod locks, Z-Rail, and many ¼ 20 mounting holes on the top and sides

FX6 Z-Finder with Sony Handle Mount Axis Micro and Fluid Rosette – The FX6 Z-Finder comes with a flip up frame designed to slide onto the FX6 LCD and a locking mount to attach to the Sony FX6 proprietary handle mount.
