Overview
Removable lightweight flat base weighing 90g with a 25kg load capacity. The platform has a 75mm base with a reversible 3/8″ to 1/4″ thread to attach any tripod head. It fits all Alta Pro 3VRL tripods with 30mm legs.

The Alta Pro 3VRL Platform 30 allows you to easily switch between different uses for your tripod without having to replace the head each time. Simply remove the levelling platform and slot the replacement in. The lightweight aluminium flat platform is easy to attach and ensures a tight fit for your chosen tripod head.

All you need to do is remove the levelling platform from your Alta Pro 3VRL and slot the replacement straight in. It couldn’t be simpler.

The lightweight aluminium flat platform has a 75mm base and weighs just 90g, with a reversible 3/8″ to 1/4″ thread to fit any tripod head of your choice. Once your chosen head is attached, simply tighten the grub screws to ensure a tight fit and ensure the head doesn’t unscrew in use.

Please note that this platform does not level and so you need to level your camera by adjusting the tripod legs, or using your tripod head. For photography, we would recommend that you use as dual axis ball head as this allows you to level your camera in seconds, and then pan or reframe your shot using the top axis, as shown in this video.
