This matte box is designed to be attached directly to the lens, rather than onto the camera’s rod system, in order to minimize weight and maintain a low profile. However, it also comes with an optional 15mm rod attachment for those who prefer to use the rod system. Additionally, the package includes a top French flag to provide protection against lens flares.
