Overview
The XT range of wireless transmitters is now smaller, lighter, and quieter than before. It also has a built-in 5-pin USB for camera control and is backwards compatible with Bolt 4K. Additionally, the Bolt 6 Series offers 12 new frequency channels, improvements in long range video quality, and an SDI Eye pattern. However, it is important to note that the 6GHz frequency band does not have any DFS channels. The Bolt 6 is included in the new Ultra 5 Bolt and is priced the same as the Bolt 4K.

The Bolt 6 Series is the industrys first 6GHz wireless solution, expanding the capabilities of the Bolt 4K family. It utilizes different antennas than the Bolt 4K and offers access to the recently-unlocked U-NII 5 frequency spectrum, providing users with more bandwidth options. Despite this expansion, the Bolt 6 remains fully compatible with Bolt 4K devices on traditional 5GHz bands. However, the projected release for the 6GHz band in the EU is not until Q1 2023.

The Bolt 6 Series expands the power and performance of the zero-delay Bolt 4K family into the recently-unlocked U-NII 5 frequency spectrum, offering users a wealth of untapped bandwidth while remaining fully-compatible with Bolt 4K on traditional 5GHz bands.

The Bolt 6 transmits and receives over the newly-available 6GHz frequency band as well as the industry-standard 5GHz, dramatically reducing signal congestion in challenging RF environments while remaining fully cross-compatible across all Bolt 4K devices.*
