OVERVIEW
SWIT’s latest professional KUWI wireless technology, the FLOW6500, offers a long-distance wireless solution for film production and event broadcasting. With a practical range of 6500ft/2km, the FLOW6500 boasts a much more robust and smooth connection, even in complex wireless environments. It also features a stronger anti-interference ability, no signal loss, and accurate colour and clock reproduction thanks to SWIT’s patented integration of receiver and panel antenna. The system is completely quiet, with no fan, and offers a stable and invisible latency of ~32ms, making it a much better option than Wifi solutions. The OLED display on both the transmitter and receiver allows for visibility and easy channel selection, and the system supports auto or manual pairing, all while remaining DFS-compliant.

The FLOW6500 system also offers chip-level content encryption, 16-ch audio, timecode, and trigger support, as well as no-stop replay for Alexa Mini. It can support more than 7 pairs in one location, with 1 transmitter to N receivers. The transmitter and receiver both have wide range DC input options, with the transmitter offering an NP-F mount and the receiver offering a V/Gold mount. With its high gain directional panel antenna, the FLOW6500 can maintain a stable connection even in the worst wireless environments, making it the ideal choice for professionals in the film and broadcasting industries.

KUWI Wireless Technology

SDI&HDMI 6500ft / 2km long distance FLOW6500 wireless system is based on SWIT latest professional KUWI wireless technology, 5.1-5.9GHz license free bands, DFS comply, sup- ports 3G/HD-SDI and HDMI (Max 1080p60) to transmit 6500ft / 2km Line-of-Sight distance. The KUWI professional wireless chip features stable connection at any complex environment and stronger in wall-cross capability. The long distance wireless can be widely used in film production, event broadcasting etc.

The Transmitter

The Transmitter has 2 omni antennas, supports 1x 3G/HD-SDI input 1x 3G/HD-SDI loop output 1x HDMI 1.3 input SDI & HDMI formats: 1080p60, 1080p59.94, 1080p50 1080p23.98, 1080p24; 1080p25, 1080p29.97, 1080p30; 1080psf23.98, 1080psf24 1080i60, 1080i59.94, 1080i50; 720p60, 720p59.94, 720p50 * Supports embedded audio (CH1&2) transmission.

The Panel Receiver

The Receiver has built into high gain directional Panel Antenna, compact size, without complex antanna wires connection, solid and reliable, and provides 1x 3G/HD-SDI output.

6500ft/2km Long Distance – Strong Wall-cross Performance

With the high gain panel receiver, FLOW6500 supports 6500ft/2km (Line-of-sight) reliable wireless transmission, and featured stronger wall-cross performance due to both RF optimize and image quality optimize, so that will keep video transmission without date lost or crash comparing to regular 5GHz wireless transmitters.

Power Supply

The power consumtion of Tx and Rx are less than 9W. The Transmitter provides NP-F DV battery plate, and 7-34V DC-IN socket; The Panel Receiver provide V-mount battery plate, and 7-34V DC-IN socket.

OLED Display & Channel Switch – 5GHz Frequency, DFS Comply

The FLOW wireless works under 5.1-5.9GHz, with built-in wireless scanner, and detect wireless condition of all frequencies, automatically jump to the best wireless channel to keep reliable connection and transmission, and DFS comply. You can also switch the wireless channels manually from 7 Non-DFS restricted channels. Both Transmitter and Panel Receiver are equipped with OLED to display signal format, wireless channel number and signal strength.

Multicast and Double Encryption

Support 1 transmitter to unlimited quantity receivers reliable multicast mode. The transmitter and receivers are paired and double encrypted by private transmission protocol and by AES128, in order to protect the footages.

Stable Connection at Worst Wireless Environment

The FLOW series adopt professional KUWI 5GHz wireless technology, can keep connected at any complex wireless environment, such as sports stadium, concert, public plaza where full of people, electronic devices or wifi routers.

FLOW series Cross-Receiving

The FLOW6500 can work together with other FLOW series wireless at different receiving distance. Use FLOW6500 Tx, you can receive in 500ft with FLOW500 Rx, and in 2000ft with FLOW2000 Rx, and in 6500ft with FLOW6500 Rx.

Reclock & Colour Reproduction

To ensure the quality of black level, signal noise and colour reproduction of the wireless received signal, the FLOW series wireless receiving supports signal re-clock and accurate colour reproduction.
