Swit Dual V-Mount Battery Plate

Overview
The KA-M20S is an extender plate designed for SWIT Pocket V-mount Batteries. This slim and lightweight plate is equipped with 2x PB-M series batteries, making it equivalent in size to a standard large capacity V-mount battery. The KA-M20S plate offers two power modes: hot swap mode and high load mode, and can automatically switch between the two depending on the devices power consumption. It also features power and hot swap indicators, as well as 2 D-tap sockets for easy connection to various cameras.

When the devices power consumption is less than the maximum load of a single PB-M battery, the KA-M20S operates in hot swap mode, allowing for the batteries to be changed one-by-one without interrupting power. In high load mode, the two batteries are used together to provide maximum power. The KA-M20S also has multiple protection circuits to ensure safe and reliable use. With its compact design and versatile features, the KA-M20S is the perfect solution for extending the power of your devices.

Hot swap application

KA-M20S is an extender plate for SWIT Pocket V-mount Batteries. Installed with 2x PB-M series batteries, the size is equivalent to a standard large capacity V-mount battery, and the KA-M20S plate can draw the 2 batteries one-by-one as hot swap mode, or use together as high load mode.

Two Power Modes

Hot Swap mode and High Load mode

When the device power consumption is less than single PB-M battery Max load (PB-M98S 100W load), the KA-M20S would be “Hot Swap mode” – 2 batteries one-by-one using, and the free battery can be changed any time.When the device power consumption is more than single PB-M battery Max load (PB-M98S 100W load), the KA-M20S would be “High Load mode” – 2 batteries using together, and none of the batteries can be removed.The Hot Swap mode and High Load mode can be automatically switched according to current power consumption of the device.

Power/Hot Swap Indicators

There’re independent power indicators for both batteries. The flashing of top power LED indicates this battery is discharging. And the flashing of EMPTY LED means this battery is empty and need to change in time.

2 D-tap Power Output

There’re 2 D-tap sockets on the top side and right side of the KA-M20S plate, for flexible connection to various cameras.
