OVERVIEW
The S-8183A high-load battery is perfect for high draw power applications, with a maximum output of 250W and 20A constant power. This is ideal for cine cameras like the ALEXA, which require around 85W high draw. Normal Li-ion batteries are not suitable for these types of cameras, as they offer only 100W/8A output and may reduce battery life if used for long periods of time at full power. Additionally, when using multiple devices such as monitors and lighting, the total power may exceed 100W, making normal batteries inadequate.

With its 240Wh / 16.7Ah high capacity, the S-8183A battery can run for approximately 8 hours with a normal 30W ENG camera, or 2.5 hours with an ARRI Alexa camera. It also supports fast charging at 6A, reducing charging time by more than 50%. The battery also features a built-in D-tap DC output socket, allowing for easy connection to on-camera lights, monitors, and wireless transmitters with a maximum power of 120W and 10A.

Normal Li-ion batteries offer 100W/8A output and suit- able for most ENG cameras, but the Cine Cameras such as ALEXA require around 85W high draw which is too heavy for the normal Li-ion batteries: the battery life will be reduced if long time full draw powering. Moreover, if there’re monitor, lighting work together, and total power will be above 100W, and the normal batteries can not draw completely.Using S-8183A high-load battery, you can get MAX 250W/20A constant power output, which can drive more high power cameras, lightings and other equipments easily, and won’t reduce battery life during long time high power output.
