Overview
The Steadimate-RS is designed to securely mount onto DJI Ronin RS2, RS3, and RS3 Pro gimbals. Its unique pan bearing design ensures smooth movement, while the gimbal handle features mounting holes for accessories. The Steadimate-RS also offers vertical “T-Slot” channels for quick weight balance adjustment, and uses industry standard stainless steel weight rods and arm mounting post. It can be easily removed from the stabiliser without the need for tools, and includes adjustable balance weights and rods made from durable stainless steel and anodized aluminium components.

With the Steadimate-RS, users can greatly improve their experience operating the Ronin RS2, RS3, and RS3 Pro gimbals. It reduces the load on the operator by utilizing a spring arm to transfer weight to the hips, allowing for extended use with minimal fatigue. The mechanical gimbal yoke and integrated pan bearing provide full pan capability and x and y-axis stabilization, while the arm offers z-axis stabilization. This 3-axis manual stabilization enhances the motorized stabilizing system, minimizing the bouncing effect often seen when walking with a handheld gimbal. The Steadimate-RS is compatible with DJI Ronin RS2 and RS3.

About the Steadicam SDMRS-GIM STEADIMATE-RS Gimbal
Steadimate-RS greatly improves the functionality and user experience of operating The Ronin RS2, RS3, and RS3 Pro motorized gimbal stabilisers. Users will experience enhanced camera stabilisation by combining the comfort and fluid movement of a Steadicam body worn stabiliser with the simple operation of the DJI handheld motorized gimbals.

The Steadimate-RS greatly reduces the load carried by the operator by utilizing a A15 or A30 (15lbs/6.8kg. or 30lbs/13.6kg weight limit respectively) spring arm to transfer the weight to the hips. Operators can now operate the Ronin RS2, RS3, and RS3 Pro for extended periods with minimal fatigue while maintaining a full range of motion.

The mechanical gimbal yoke with integrated pan bearing of the Steadimate-RS delivers full pan capability and provides x and y-axis stabilization while the arm provides z-axis stabilisation. Combined, this 3-axis manual stabilisation enhances the capability of the motorized stabilising system to minimize the image bouncing effect often found when walking with a handheld motorized stabiliser.
