Sony VCT-14 Tripod Plate

Overview
The VCT-14 is a durable and sturdy plate designed for mounting broadcast SD/HD camcorders. Its all-metal construction ensures a rigid and secure attachment, providing stability during filming. We have observed that this plate also eliminates any wobbling that may occur with the slightly cheaper VCT-U14 model when used with DSR camcorders from the DSR-300 and above.

However, it is important to note that the VCT-14 is not suitable for use with the DSR-250P. This is likely due to compatibility issues or differences in design between the two models. It is recommended to check the compatibility of the plate before use to ensure optimal performance and safety.

About the Sony VCT-14 Tripod Plate
The VCT-14 features a robust, all-metal construction and provides rigid mounting of broadcast SD / HD camcorders. We have also noticed that for DSR camcorders from the DSR-300 upwards this plate eliminates wobble that occurs with the slightly cheaper VCT-U14 model.

Please note that the VCT-14 is not suitable for use with the DSR-250P
