In addition to its speed, the PDW-U4 also features a USB 3.2 Type-C Interface, making it compatible with a wide range of devices. However, it’s important to note that for certain discontinued media, such as Sony PFD23, TDK SL 2x, SL2.4x, and DL 2.4x, the PDW-U4 can only be used for playback and not recording. It is physically unable to record on these discs.
