Overview
The SmallRig 3884 Camera Cage for Canon EOS R3 is an all-in-one full cage that provides protection for the camera. It is locked via one 1/4”-20 screw at the bottom and two side lock adapters on both sides. The cage also features bottom and left Arca-Swiss quick release plates, allowing for quick switching between horizontal and vertical shooting. With multiple 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8″ -16 locating holes, and cold shoe mounts, the cage is equipped for multi-scene shooting. It also supports DJI RS 2/RSC 2 stabilizers with its bottom Arca-Swiss quick release plate. Please note that this cage is designed specifically for the Canon EOS R3.

The SmallRig Camera Cage for Canon EOS R3 3884 is designed to provide not only protection but also multiple mounting points for accessories. It can be secured to the camera via one 1/4”-20 screw at the bottom and two side lock adapters on both sides. The cage also features silicone cushions to prevent scratches and maintain access to buttons, card slots, battery door, and flip screen. With various threaded holes and cold shoe mounts, it allows for the attachment of accessories such as a top handle, side handle, monitor mount, and magic arm. The cage is also compatible with Arca-Swiss tripods and can be mounted directly onto DJI RS 2/RSC 2 stabilizers. However, please note that the left mounting points are not available in vertical shooting on an Arca-Swiss tripod. The flip screen can also tilt 50° forward or 50° backwards when the cage is installed. Overall, the SmallRig 3884 Camera Cage is a versatile and essential accessory for the Canon EOS R3.
