Overview
The Rycote BD-10 is a versatile microphone designed for M/S stereo and ambient recording, as well as dual dialogue. Its bidirectional condenser capsule ensures consistent acoustic timbre with other Rycote microphones and high off-axis rejection. The compact preamp features ultra-low noise circuitry and sophisticated RF shielding, making it suitable for use with digital wireless systems and walkie talkies. The gold-plated Neutrik XLR connector and active in-line filtering further enhance its performance.

The materials used in the BD-10, such as non-corrosive machined brass and aluminium interference tube, ensure the best possible and longest lasting RF shielding. Its non-reflective finish adds to its professional look. This microphone is perfect for MS or DMS recording, and can also be used for stereo sound design or field recording. Suggested Rycote accessories include various foam and fur windshields, as well as the Cyclone Windshield and Modular Windshield kits.

The Rycote BD-10 is a Bidirectional (Figure of 8) condenser Microphone designed mainly for M/S stereo and ambient recording as well as dual dialogue. Perfect for use with the SC-08, CA-08 or HC-15 for a complete Rycote M/S Stereo or DM/S stereo solutions. Based around our signature low self-noise capsule it delivers the precision and quality that our range of microphones has become renowned for.

Applications

Used in MS or DMS (Double MS) for doc-style or corporate content in combination with directional mic. Ideal to pick dialogue and ambience with mono sources and avoiding setup change on top of some control over the stereo image.

Can be also used for stereo sound design or field recording
