RED Compact EVF

Overview
Please note that camera settings control is only supported on DSMC3 systems. This means that users will not be able to control camera settings using the RED Compact EVF on other camera systems. The DSMC3 Adapter A is required to use the RED Compact EVF on DSMC3 cameras, which is sold separately.

The RED Compact EVF is a convenient single cable monitoring solution for DSMC3 camera systems. It features a high-quality 1080p micro-OLED display and user-assignable buttons for quick access to tools such as peaking and magnify. Users can also control camera settings such as ISO, FPS, and White Balance using the buttons on the EVF.

The RED Compact EVF comes with an adjustable diopter for customizable viewing, a quick-connect mount for use with the RED EVF Mount or third-party options, and an updated secure eyecup mounting system for easy replacement. It is important to note that the eyepiece should not be pointed at direct sunlight, as continued exposure can cause damage to the EVF. This type of damage is not covered under warranty, so it is important for operators to keep the eyepiece pointed away from sunlight when not in use.

The RED Compact EVF is a single cable monitoring solution for DSMC3 camera systems. It features a 1080p micro-OLED display and user-assignable buttons to quickly access tools such as peaking and magnify, or to control the camera’s settings such as ISO, FPS, and White Balance.

The RED Compact EVF includes an adjustable diopter, a quick-connect mount for use with the RED EVF Mount or a 1/4-20 mount plate for use with third-party options, and an updated secure eyecup mounting system that also allows the operator to easily replace the eyecup.

WARNING: DO NOT point the RED® Compact EVF eyepiece at direct sunlight. Continued exposure to direct sunlight can damage the EVF. When the operator is not using the EVF, they must keep the eyepiece pointed away from sunlight. Damage to the RED® Compact EVF caused by continued exposure to direct sunlight is not covered under warranty.
