MID49 Audio Breakout AB-3

Overview
The Audio Breakout AB-3 is a useful passive adapter designed for cameras such as RED Komodo, DSMC2, DSLR, and others. It allows for easy conversion of the cameras 3.5mm plug to two standard XLR connectors. The adapter attaches to the camera body or side plates using a captive 1/4-20 screw and rubber pad. Additionally, it features two M4 threaded holes in 20mm ARRI spacing, which can be used to add a Breakout Box Side Mounting Bracket (sold separately) for attaching the AB-3 using a 3/8-16 screw with ARRI locating pins.

The AB-3 comes with a 12 inch (30.5cm) cable length and a right angle 3.5mm TRS connector, making it a practical and versatile tool for audio recording.
