The ARMOR SD card meets the thickness requirements of the SD Association and has been tested for 10,000 insertions and extractions to ensure it wont damage camera card slots. It has an operating temperature range of -25°C to 85°C, making it suitable for extreme environments, and static electricity generated in daily life will not affect its performance.

Is the stainless steel SD card too thick? Will it cause damage to the camera card slot?

The ARMOR SD card meets the thickness requirements of the SD Association (SDA), which requires the card thickness within 2.1 ± 0.15mm, and the actual thickness of the ARMOR SD card meets the standard. Meanwhile, Lexar conducted 10,000 insertion and extraction tests on the ARMOR SD card. It can be safely used in the camera card slot and will not cause damage to the card slot.

Will the stainless steel case get hot after being used for a long time? Will recording stop due to the SD Card overheating?

The operating temperature range of the ARMOR SD card is from -25°C to 85°C, and the maximum normal operating temperature of mainstream cameras is -15°C to 60°C. This indicates that the ARMOR SD card can operate in the most extreme working environments, and there will be no situation where recording stops due to the memory card itself being too hot.

Will static electricity affect the card performance?

During the anti-static tests in the Lexar Quality Laboratory, the test results show that the static electricity generated in daily life will not cause damage to the memory card or affect its performance. (Test result: air discharge at ±4KV and contact discharge at ±4KV. The static electricity value generated in daily use in winter is approximately 3KV.)
