Overview
The Heden LM40 is a new, superlight and powerful vertical motor that weighs only 110 grams without the bracket and gear. It is specifically designed for use on gimbals, Steadicams, and drones, making it a versatile choice for a variety of filming needs. This motor is also compatible with popular systems such as Hedén YMER/CARAT, Preston, and Freefly MoVi, and its bracket can be used with both 15mm and 19mm rods.

The LM40 shares the same physical dimensions as the popular LM30, but it boasts a stronger motor with more torque. While it may trade a bit of top speed and weight, it offers a longer service life and is able to handle heavier loads. With its 7-pin 0B connector, the LM40 is even lighter and can use smaller cables. Its unique interchangeable snap-on gears can be mounted on either side of the gear housing, and it comes with a 0.8 gear module with the option to purchase 0.4, 0.5, and 0.6 modules as extras. Overall, the LM40 is a reliable and lightweight option for filmmakers looking for a high-quality motor.

About the Heden LM40-256 Motor
The Heden LM40 shares it physical dimensions with the popular LM30 but houses a stronger motor with more torque. LM40 trades a little bit of top speed and weight for more torque and a longer service life. The weight and size make it a perfect choice for use on steadicams, gimbals and drones.

The 7-pin 0B connector reduce weight further and allows smaller and lighter cables.

The motor mounts vertically on a 19/15mm rod with the supplied updated bracket. The unique interchangeable snap on gears that can be mounted on either side of the gear housing ads to the versatility of the Heden motors. Supplied with a 0.8 gear module and with 0.4, 0.5, 0.6 modules available as extras.
