New Lens Controller allows you to control your lens position by hand, similar to adjusting pan & tilt angles and slide positions of other motion controllers in the edelkrone ecosystem. Just set your camera’s position by hand, focus on your object, and store that multi-axis keypose for later use!

Depending on your production needs, control Lens Controller through edelkrone App (6 independent keyposes) or edelkrone Controller (3 independent keyposes).A single LP-E6 battery can power Lens Controller for maximum portability or an external DC input can power Lens Controller for those long productions. Lens Controller even includes a Link port for future extensibility.

Operate with the edelkrone App

edelkrone App cleverly scans the available devices in its surroundings and pairs with them automatically, giving you a single screen to control all devices together.

The interface is extremely simple.

Use the controls on the top part of the App screen to set the pose of your camera. Press and hold on any of the keypose buttons to record that pose. Use the same button to recall that pose. It’s that simple. Press 2 keyposes to put the system in loop between both keyposes.

You can adjust the speed and acceleration of the transition between keyposes. Or, you can easily create time-lapse videos by using the same keyposes.

• Wireless Motorized Focus or Zoom Control: Lens Controller delivers ultra-quiet and precise focus or zoom control for any mechanical lens. The motor is powerful enough to rotate bulky pro cinema lenses and gentle enough for delicate lens end-stops.
• Allows Manual Focus/Zoom: You can freely rotate the focus or zoom ring on your lens while Lens Control is attached. Lens Controller can read your manual adjustments.
• App Controlled & Programmed: You can record any focus or zoom position on your lens to the edelkrone App and recall it later by pressing a single button.
• 5-Axis Ready: Lens Controller seamlessly and wirelessly pairs with nearby edelkrone devices. This feature allows you to control focus or zoom while also controlling pan, tilt, and camera slide from a single mobile device.
• Works on Any Lens with 0.8 mm Gear : Lens Controller is compatible with all professional cinema lenses with a 0.8 mm pitch gear on them.
• Works with Non-Geared Lenses, Too: No gears on your lens? No problem! Lens Controller still works with all lenses with mechanical focus/zoom with the extra lens gear included with Lens Controller. You can strap this lens gear around your lens to make it instantly compatible with Lens Controller.
• Extra Lens Gears Available for Purchase: If you have more than one lens that needs a lens gear, extra lens gears can be purchased separately from our website.
