DJI has released their first cinema zoom lens, the DL PZ 17-28 mm T3.0 ASPH, which covers focal lengths from 17 mm to 28 mm. This lens is perfect for professional shooting as it provides a calibration-free focusing experience. Once mounted, the lens is ready to deliver accurate focusing and zoom without the need for calibration. The lens also boasts ultra-high resolution from center to edge, meeting the requirements of 8K sensors for superior image quality. With a minimum object distance of 0.19 m, this lens can handle most close-up shots at ultra wide angles. Additionally, the lens is made from a lightweight aluminium magnesium alloy, weighing only 520 g, while still maintaining stiffness and strength.

The DL PZ 17-28 mm T3.0 ASPH also features a built-in servo zoom motor, eliminating the need for an external focus motor. This non-detachable motor is both lightweight and portable. The lens tube moves within 5 mm while zooming, making it possible to zoom without the need for re-balancing. When used with the Ronin 4D, re-balancing is not required after zooming.
