Overview
The V-Mic D4 Mini is a compact and versatile microphone designed for capturing directional audio and rejecting off-camera sounds. With a 20mph wind rating, it is perfect for outdoor use. The microphone also features an automatic extra track assignment when a secondary source is plugged in, making it convenient for use with a right channel input. Best of all, it does not require batteries, as it runs off 1-5V from cameras, phones, and audio recorders.

The D4 Mini is equipped with an offset shockmount, making it ideal for use with wide-angle vlogging cameras or action cameras. Its side-mounted output jack is also perfect for hybrid DSLR shooters who want to use their eyepiece for taking photos. Additionally, the microphone has an input jack that allows for easy insertion of a secondary audio source, such as a wireless microphone, without the need for a splitter cable. Please note that the input jacks audio signal is combined with the audio signal from the V-Mic D4 Mini when using the TRS to TRRS smartphone cable.
