Overview
The new 147wh, 14.8v Lithium Ion battery boasts a 16A Peak / 12A continuous load and features RFID Voltbridge data and a totally new internal build, making it more robust and easier to service. It also includes SMBUS & RED Data communication to camera and a ‘Helix’ style LCD. This battery is available in both Gold and V-Mount versions. In addition to its high current delivery, the NEO battery pack offers a 16 Amp Peak with 12 Amp draw and is firmware upgradeable through USB. With RFID capabilities, users can view battery vitals from a mobile app or RFID reader. The modular build design reduces wiring and ensures maximum build integrity. The new backlit LCD provides useful information such as nominal runtime, remaining runtime, and remaining charge time. The packs also have a storage mode to protect against self-discharge and comply with travel regulations. Encased in a rubberized housing, these packs are designed to withstand accidental impacts. They are rated for 2K cycles and come with a 2-year warranty. The LED gauge on the side allows for easy monitoring of remaining battery capacity. The integrated “Smart” p-tap connector allows for powering 12vdc devices while receiving battery data. These packs are also able to communicate with cameras and chargers using one-wire and two-wire protocols. They are compatible with a variety of chargers and even offer a 5v USB port for charging accessories or mobile devices. With a hibernation feature, the packs go to sleep after 48 hours of inactivity and awaken when picked up.
