Overview
This Top Rail is specifically designed for the Canon C70 and offers a variety of features to enhance its functionality. It includes multiple 1/4” and 3/8” anti-twist accessory mounts with helicoils for added durability. Additionally, there are two built-in Quick Detach sockets for QD compatible anchors and camera straps, as well as an integrated NATO rail with spring-loaded safety stops. This provides multiple mounting points for attaching Side Plates and other accessories.

The Top Rail also features two military-standard Quick-Detach (QD) points for straps and tethers, making it versatile for different rigging options. All threaded points are stainless-steel helicoiled for added strength, preventing thread stripping or binding. This Top Rail can be combined with a LeftField Canon C70 baseplate and Side Plate for a completely rigid setup, or used with other standard NATO accessories. Every part of the Canon C70 LeftField system is machined and hand-finished in a single factory, ensuring high quality and comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty.

About the Bright Tangerine C70 Top Plate
This Top Rail attaches to the top of the Canon C70, providing a secure mounting point for top handles and other NATO based accessories. When attaching the NATO Top Handle/ The Top Plate also features two military-standard Quick-Detach (QD) points for straps & tethers.

Helicoil, NATO and QD

When it comes to rigging, you can choose from threaded, NATO and QD points, or any combination you need. All threaded points are stainless-steel helicoiled for added strength. Helicoil fittings are crucial to prevent thread stripping or binding. An important factor to consider when constantly changing rig configurations.

For a completely rigid setup, combine with a LeftField Canon C70 baseplate & Side Plate to form a cage around the camera. The Top Rail can be used with the NATO top handle & 15mm top bar bracket. It can also be used with any other standard NATO accessories.
