Introducing the Aputure Lantern, the latest addition to our line of lighting equipment. With our recent release of the Fresnel 2X and Spotlight, we have now made shaping hard light easier. But we didnt stop there – we wanted to simplify soft light as well.

The Aputure Lantern is a quick solution for producing soft, even light on-the-go. Its spherical design allows for 270° beam angle, spreading light in all directions. And with its 4-section fully adjustable light control skirt, you can easily and precisely control your soft light. The Lantern is also perfect for run-and-gun situations, as it can be set up or broken down in just a few seconds. And with its compatibility with Bowens mount Studio Strobe or LED fixtures, the Lantern is a versatile tool for any photo or video shoot.

This spherical softbox can pop open and be ready to use in mere seconds. With the Lantern you can produce soft, even light wherever your shoots may take you.

EVEN, OMNIDIRECTIONAL LIGHT

By utilizing a 26” spherical design, the Lantern spreads the light from your LED or Studio Strobe in all directions with a 270° beam angle.

ART OF CONTROL

The Aputure Lantern is one of the only spherical softboxes on the market with a 4-section fully adjustable light control skirt. By using a hook-and-loop design, the removable skirts can attach in any position, to quickly and precisely control your soft light.

READY FOR RUN AND GUN

With its tension-based quick release frame, the Lantern can be set up or broken down in just a few seconds, allowing you to set up fewer lights, faster.

ANY BOWENS LIGHT

With the ability to fit onto any Bowens mount Studio Strobe or LED fixtures, such as our 120d or 300d series lights, the Lantern is the perfect photo or video accessory for casting soft light over a wide area, while still maintaining control.
